The goal, it would seem, is reunion with Spirit.
Learn lessons while here, don't run from, don't fear it.

SUMMARY:

The goal of all religions that I know of is to reunite with Spirit, in whatever form that religion believes in.  It is our time here that helps us toward that goal.  As the term "Schoolhouse Earth" implies, we are here to learn whatever lessons are needed in order for us to become completely whole and rejoin with Spirit.
