Here are some links to places that I have benefitted from. I
invite you to support your local pagan community with your time,
energy and money to keep them available for all of us.
The Witches Voice - An
online community and news source for pagans of all flavors.
The
Turning Wheel - A great new age bookstore with free open discussions
weekly and free rituals open to the public. Special thanks to
Barry and his Open Roundtable discussions that I have enjoyed
each Tuesday night.
WhyWiccansSuck.com
- Before you get all freaked and start chasing me down with pitchforks
and torches, this is not an anti-Wicca site. Really! It is an
extremely well conceived site focused on looking at the Wiccan
community (not the Wicca religion) and applying Critical Thinking.
Not "Bad Critical" but "Insightful Logical Critical"
thinking.
Critical Thinking
- The disciplined ability and willingness to assess evidence
and claims, to seek a breadth of contradicting as well as confirming
information, to make objective judgments on the basis of well
supported reasons as a guide to belief and action, and to monitor
one’s thinking while doing so (metacognition). The thinking
process that is appropriate for critical thinking depends on
the knowledge domain (e.g.: scientific, mathematical, historical,
anthropological, economic, philosophical, moral) but the universal
criteria are: clarity, accuracy, precision, consistency, relevance,
sound empirical evidence, good reasons, depth, breadth and fairness.

- An interesting book comparing and contrasting the different
ways that Religion and Science acquire their knowledge, verify
it, and the relative strengths and weaknesses of both methods.
Includes ideas on how Science can work to prove or disprove many
of Religion's assertions through the Scientific Method. Available
in print or (free) eBook formats.
